Essay Sample - How to Choose the Right One For Your College Essay
Essay Sample - How to Choose the Right One For Your College EssayThere are hundreds of online high school essay samples available to writers and educators. In my experience, there are some good essay samples and some really bad ones. Here are some tips on what to look for when searching for essay samples. And remember, the quality of the sample is just as important as the content. The first thing that I look for in a particular sample is its topic. Since essays have to be focused and specific in their content, they need to focus on a subject or topic that will fit the theme of the essay. You may be assigned to write about an area like economics, but your college's writing requirement may be 'The Ten Commandments,' so you can't write an essay about an obscure biblical book. Be sure the topic matches what is expected of the essay.Another factor in selecting a topic is whether you know enough about the topic to write an essay on it. Just because you are asked to write about a specific to pic, does not mean that you know how to tackle it. Some students may know enough about an area to be able to write an essay on it but just know a little more than others to be able to understand the essay topics. The quality of the essay is very important when writing essays for college. This is because you need to be able to engage the reader and pull them through the essay to a conclusion. If the essay contains a lot of wasted words, digressions and skipped steps, you will likely fail in your attempt to score well in RDDG or Residual Decomposed Data Grade. The format of the essay is also important. Most essays will have some type of form. You may need to follow a format, or you may choose to use a format that fits your own style. Both options should be examined carefully by the instructor, since they can make a big difference in how well the essay does. The title of the essay is also very important. Most essays will have a title, but I would strongly recommend going over the title wi th the instructor before submitting the essay. You want to make sure the title is appropriate for the essay you are writing.Format is not the only thing that can affect the essay's grade. Another thing that can determine how well the essay does is the quality of the essay. An unfocused essay is most likely not going to do very well in RDDG or RESG. If you are unsure how to write an essay, talk to an instructor or even check out a book or website that has good sample essays. This is just a short review of some of the factors that should be considered when looking for essay samples. There are many things to consider, including the style, subject matter, topic, and overall writing quality. As long as you do your homework and find a good essay, you will be able to earn an A in Residual Decomposed Data Grade.
